Talib Hussain, the most wanted terrorist of LeT who was apprehended by the J&K police on Sunday with the help of locals of Reasi region is once again in the news when his links surfaced with a local online news channel ‘News Sehar India’.
In a recent press conference, Mr Ravinder Raina BJP Chief, Jammu said that terrorist Talib Hussain was never a BJP member and posing as a journalist he gained access to the party.
Yesterday, Mr Raina reacted to the reports, when pictures of LeT terrorist went viral on the social media with BJP party ministers and in the office conferences.
Speaking to media he told Talib Hussain used to come to the party office as a reporter of ‘News Sehar India’ a local youtube news channel but little did he know that Talib is a terrorist in disguise. Many people come to party office and the picture which is in circulation in media is just one of them. He continued saying, in the very first meeting it is very difficult to find if someone has links with terror outfits.
“He used to visit as a journalist and click pictures with the BJP party leaders, he even did recce in my office and recorded videos of my office locality and residence of our leaders also. Post that he used to send the video clips to the terrorists based in Pakistan to carry out attacks .He intended to blast our party office as revealed in the police investigation”, Mr Raina informed.
Mr Raina further continued that terrorist Talib Hussain has never been an active party member of BJP because if we examine the party appointment letter which is currently viral in the news do not bear his name and signature as it is a mandatory rule of the party that all the press releases should carry the consent of the State Office Head and insignias.
Moreover he told that it is a breach and lapse of security that Talib managed to meet the prominent members of BJP and further investigations can only clarify the matter.
He requested the local LG govt to conduct a NIA probe in this matter and assured full co-operation from his office to aid in such investigation.
