Indian Army under Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav has implemented several need based ‘OPERATION SADBHAVANA’ projects with an aim to connect local populace with mainstream and cause infrastructure development in the area.
Under one such project, the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Mahore constructed two toilets at Govt High School, Batoi, Mahore, Reasi to promote the thought of cleanliness and hygiene in schools.
The Indian Army's people centric approach in eradicating the scourge of terrorism and assisting the local administration in their educational and economic upliftment programs through ‘OPERATION SADBHAVANA’ has had a positive impact on the local population.
The occasion was graced by Mr Mazahir Hussain, SDM Mahore along with local population. Speaking on the occasion, SDM, Mahore applauded the efforts made towards Clean India Mission. The initiatives would go a long way in instilling confidence among the local populace and addressing their concerns.
