Due to the high temperatures, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir has suggested a 10-day summer holiday in all educational institutions under its jurisdiction, according to official sources on Friday.
While formal government clearance is pending, sources say the Directorate has suggested a 10-day break from July 4 to July 14.
Dr Tasaduq Hussain, Director School Education Kashmir, answered positively and stated that formal approval from the government was pending.
