CBSE Compartment Exam Dates 2022 Announced

CBSE 2022 Compartment Exam: The Central Board of Secondary Education declared the CBSE Class 12 Result 2022 on 22nd July. The candidates who could not qualify for any examination i.e. if a student has failed in any subject will be given an opportunity to appear in compartment examination. Class 12 compartment exam 2022 will start on 23rd August and will continue till 25th August. CBSE compartment exam will be conducted at various places across the country.

The exam will be conducted using the Term 2 Exam Syllabus. Students who applied for 6 or more subjects but failed to clear any of the first 5 subjects, candidates who passed with grace marks or appeared in 5 subjects after appearing in 6 or more subjects Those who have failed to pass with the marks of IX and have passed in one subject are also allowed to appear in compartment examinations to improve the performance i.e. marks in the failed subject.

The overall pass percentage of the board this year has been 92.71 per cent. With a pass rate of 98.83 per cent, Trivandrum has emerged as the best-performing region. In class 12 board exams, all registered transgender students passed, girls outperforming boys by 3.29 per cent.

Further, CBSE stated that while equal weightage has been given to practice in both the term, it has fixed 30% weightage for the objective exam of Term 1 and 70% weightage for the theory part of Term 2. The board has also revealed a tentative date for the class 12 exam for the next year. The examinations may start on February 15, 2023.
