Microsoft and NASA are gearing up to launch quantum computing into space

Over the years, the global race has begun on two fronts of technology: space exploration and quantum computing. Japan and the private sector are in the race with NASA, while Google and other companies are on the path of the quantum computer race. Now NASA and Microsoft have agreed on the use of quantum computers in space.

Now NASA, in collaboration with Microsoft, has signed an agreement to use the Azure quantum computer in space science and technology. The biggest advantage of this is that the instructions of a quantum computer travel at almost the speed of light, they can process big data and can do minutes of work in seconds.

The reason is that quantum computers can be used for very fast processes to control and give orders to our solar system and even distant spacecraft.

Although this is a new field, Microsoft has had some successful experiments. For example, an operation that is completed in two hours is performed in just 16 minutes, which is a very good development. But under the guise of trade secrets, Microsoft did not provide much detail about the test.

It should be noted that quantum computers do not operate under the binary system of a conventional computer, but the computer operates under a quantum state or quantum state. Thus the speed of quantum computers is genetic and very efficient. But it seems that its practical application will still be far away. NASA and Microsoft will be researching this together for some time.
