In today's world where there is travel and other preparations for travel, there are also some smartphone tourism apps that are very helpful while traveling. There are colorful apps for tourists or travelers but at present most of the apps are not very useful for Pakistan. Well, at least I didn't go down without explaining myself first. With the help of weather and route information, hotel search, its location on earth and its location, stars, planets, speed, direction, and altitude above sea level, etc. are known.
You can also create a complete track of your journey and you can see from your own online home where you are at the moment or where you are traveling. Apart from all these, there is a lot more to know from these tourism apps. There are many benefits to using them during travel and tourism.
Let's take a detailed look at these tourism apps.
AccuWeather
The first and foremost thing for tourism is the season of the tourist spot or area. In my opinion, AccuWeather is the best app to find out about the weather. With the help of this app, you can check the weather of important places in detail if the internet is available. It is usually pre-installed on smartphones. If not, Android smartphone owners can install from this link. Tune in to your iPhone and find out for yourself at your designated store.
Google Maps Amazing Tourism App
The second most important thing after the season is the map of routes and important places. The Google Maps app for maps is currently available worldwide. Through this one can know the route from one place to another and the duration of the journey etc. In fact, it provides guidance as well as travel. It also describes the traffic situation in major cities. Location Sharing is an option in Google Maps that can also be used for live location sharing.
Maps to take me to that location, the app will guide you. Plus, you'll be getting to know where you are right now or where you're going right now. This will only happen when the internet is available. But one of the great features of Google Maps is its offline maps.
Whenever I have to go to an area, I can download the map of that area in the form of offline maps from home. Thus, even if the Internet is not available, a map of routes and locations becomes available. There are many other tourism apps for searching hotels etc., but I also get this job from Google Maps. In addition to this, I also save the places that I have to visit during my travels in Google Maps. This tourism app is usually pre-installed on smartphones. If not, Android users can install from this link.
GPS Status & Toolbox
Need to know the direction, ie to know the directions, to see your speed, to know the rate of change in your speed ie Acceleration or to reach a place and its latitude & Longitude or GPS Status & Toolbox is the best app for finding out the altitude of this place. Not only this, with the help of this app you can save your current location and return home and see the saved places on the map. Saved locations can also be saved to your mobile or computer by exporting.
is app can also be used to copy your current location or share it with others. In addition, the more sensors there are in the smartphone, the more the functions of this app will increase. For example, if there is a temperature sensor, this app will also tell the temperature. Such an air pressure sensor will tell the pressure. Android users can install this tourism app from this
link.
My Tracks
An app called MyTracks was originally from Google. But I don't know why Google shut down that app, even though it was a great app. Well, now there is another app with the same name. With this app, you can create your own track. This app will record wherever you go. After returning from the trip you can see on the map where they passed.
One of the advantages of this app is that you can create a track while going to a place and then return according to that track.۔ That is, even if you forget the way back, you can find out from the app. Tracks created through this app can also be shared with other users of the app and those who have shared can also view their tracks. You can also export the track and save it to your mobile or computer. Link to Tracks tourism app.
SkyView
I use the Sky View app whenever I want to know the location of the Sun, Moon, and the rotation of the stars, the International Space Station (ISS) or the Hubble Space Telescope, etc. The biggest advantage of this app is that you can point your smartphone towards any star, then this app will tell the name of that star.
If you want to take a photo at night while having fun, this app can find out which way more stars are coming from or what are the names of the important stars that are coming in the picture. In addition, the moon and the sun point to the arm of the galaxy and it is known where they are at the moment and approximately how long they will reach the desired location of photography.

Google Keep The Tourism App
If you ever have to make a note, Google Cap is better than drawing a pencil. Notes created by it are uploaded to Google Account whenever the Internet is available. This way, if the smartphone is damaged, lost, or has a problem, all the notices can be retrieved from the Google account. In case of a phone change, as soon as you install a Google account on the new phone and install this app, all the notes will be downloaded to the phone.
I am mentioning this app in relation to tourism because I often have to write different kinds of memoirs while having fun. While the Google Cape app allows you to create notes by simply typing text, it also provides the ability to create lists, record audio, convert audio into written form, and image notes. For photo notes, take a picture with the camera or take a note of the picture already present in the smartphone or make anything using a pencil. Link to the Google Cape app.
These are the apps that I use to help with tourism and travel. Also, Google Trips is a good app. Keep in mind that different apps work based on different sensors in the smartphone. If you want to use such an app, then pay special attention to the sensors when buying a smartphone.
Note
Never take any risk with any app. Of course, technology pays off, but it doesn't take long for it to go awry or deceive. Take advantage of the MyTracks app, for example, but don't go far into the wilderness or the jungle, thinking you'll find your way back. Do you know if the app crashes before the return or if there is a glitch in the smartphone? So always keep apps as well as other alternatives.
Do you have any apps that are useful for travel or tourism? It is through the exchange of information that we learn from each other. Feel free to discuss and add to my knowledge.
