You can apply for the Rehmatul Lil Alameen scholarship 2022now via the scholarship portal. There were 10,851 scholarships awarded last year. There are 29,142 scholarships reserved this year. Undergraduate students can also apply for scholarships. Most of the scholarships are for intermediate students.
Punjab's Department of Higher Education has received numerous applications from all 36 districts in the province. The Higher Education Department of Punjab has announced an extension in the deadline due to the overwhelming response of students to the scholarship program.

Eligibility Criteria for Rehmatul Lil Alameen Scholarship:
Students will be eligible to apply for the Rehmatul Lil Alameen scholarship based on the following categories:
SSC (Matric) Result:
On the basis of SSC (matriculation) results, scholarships will be granted based on the following criteria:
- A student who has secured at least 60% marks in SSC examinations from any public school and has gained admission into a public school college within two years of passing the SSC examinations.
- Based on fair gender distribution, the ratio of Science & Humanities students is 60:40 respectively.
- A student cannot be receiving any other scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria for Merit-Based applicants of the Rehmatul Lil Alameen Scholarship:
- In light of the results released by the Intermediate and Secondary Education boards, the candidate must be the highest scorer from their district as selected by the Higher Education Department.
- Candidates' merits will be judged based on their district/place of residence, not where they were admitted.
- The district of domicile will determine the merit of students who get admission in a public sector institute outside their own district.
- HEP verifies the score of the applicant based on the data provided by the boards in Punjab.
Eligibility Criteria for Need-Based applicants of the Rehmatul Lil Alameen Scholarship:
- Parents cannot own more than 5 Marla of urban property or 05 acres of agricultural land.
- In order for parents to qualify, their income must be less than or equal to Rs. 25000/- per month
- Children of government employees are eligible for a 10% quota of need-based scholarships (Grade 1 to 4).
