Here  is  the complete information about Ehsaas Scholarships 2021 for Undergraduate students in Pakistan. Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship will be available for new Admissions Fall 2021-22 starting September 30, 2021. Scholarship applications for Ehsaas undergraduate scholarships 2022 can be submitted via the Higher Education Commission, HEC portal.

Through Ehsaas undergraduate scholarship program, 67,000 scholarships were awarded last year. A budget of Rs6.53 billion was approved by the steering committee for the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship. Ehsaas scholarship program received 111,685 applications last year. Of these, 42,430 were submitted by female students.

Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship, Pakistan's largest undergraduate scholarship program, launched in 2019. Deserving students will receive 200,000 scholarships in four years through the Ehsaas undergraduate scholarship program. There is a 50% quota for female students. Scholarships awarded through the Ehsaas program are fully funded, which not only covers tuition fees, but will also provide the scholars with a monthly stipend.

Eligibility Criteria for Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program:

  • Students from low-income families who deserve a scholarship.
  • Undergraduate students enrolled in HEC affiliated public sector universities are eligible to apply.
  • Students who were admitted to public sector universities on a merit basis are eligible.
  • Only regular students are eligible for this program. Distance learning students are not eligible.
  • Students pursuing undergraduate degree programs can apply to the Ehsaas Scholarship program based on their financial need.
  • The scholarship is not available for students enrolled in self-finance or self-support programs.
  • If a student has already received any other scholarship or grant, he or she will not be eligible to apply.

How to Apply for Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship:

  • For complete application forms, please contact the financial aid office of your chosen university.
  • The application form should not be submitted directly to HEC or BISP.

Supporting Documents for Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship:

Following the submission of the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Project online application form, you will need to print the application form and attach the following supporting documents:

  1. Copy of applicant CNIC / B. Form
  2. Copy of CNIC (Father, Mother/ Guardian)
  3. Payslip/Income Certificate (Paternal/Guardian, Mother)
  4. You must attach an undertaking of income certificate on minimum of 50 stamp papers if the father is a labourer, a shopkeeper, or a private worker.
  5. Utility Bills from the last six months (Electricity, Gas, Telephone, Water) (If Applicable).
  6. Rent agreement if house is rented.
  7. A copy of the applicant's last fee receipt and siblings' receipts, if applicable).
  8. Medical bills/expenditures related documents (if applicable).

Ehsaas Scholarship Award Process:

  • Students must apply through https://ehsaas.hec.gov.pk/ and SUBMIT the application form. Saved applications will not be accepted.
  • Applications must be submitted with supporting documents to the university's financial aid office by the given deadline. (Lists of supporting documents can be found on the university's website).
  • Scrutiny Committee will shortlist all candidates that meet the eligibility criteria, based on the information provided in their applications, as well as those who have provided all the information required under the rules, such as proof of family income, assets, past academic record, age (where appropriate), etc.
  • Any application form that is incomplete will be rejected.
  • Potential applicants for scholarships will be interviewed/recommended by the universities' Institutional Scholarship Award Committee.
  • A deed of agreement will be required from all scholarship recipients.
  • An official scholarship award letter will be issued by the university's financial aid office.
  • Scholarships awarded cannot be transferred to another university, academic program, or academic session.
  • Awards will be continued for the following semester/year subject to satisfactory academic performance.
