Southern Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2023-2024 Open advertisement has been published in Employment News Paper dated 30th October 2023 Issue. Ministry of Railways, Southern Railway , Chennai invites applications from eligible Sports Persons for recruitment of Level 2 to 5 vacancy posts against Sports Quota for the year 2023-2022 in various Games / Events. The Last date for submission of applications is 30th November 2023

✅ Vacancy Posts:

✔️ Level 4 & 5: 05 Posts
✔️ Level 2 & 3: 16 Posts

✅ Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years. Age Relaxation as per Rules.

✅ Pay Scale: Level 2 to Level 5 in 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

✅ Minimum Sports Norms Eligibility:

✔️ Level-4 & 5: Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Category- 'A') (OR) At least 3rd position in any of the Category - B' Championships / events.

✔️ Level-2 & 3: Represented the Country in any of the Category – ‘B' Championships/ events. (OR) At least 3rd position in any of the Category-'C Championships / events (OR) At least 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships (OR) At least 3rd Position in National Games organised under the Aegis of Indian Olympic Association. (OR) At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championships organised under the Aegis of Association of Indian Universities (OR) First position in Federation Cup Championship (Senior Category).

✅ Educational Qualification:

✔️ For Posts in Level 2 & 3: Matriculation with 12th Class Pass (+2 Stage).
✔️ For Posts in Level 4 & 5: Graduation (Bachelor's Degree).

✅ Application Fee:

✔️ ₹ 500/- for General / OBC category candidates.
✔️ ₹ 250/- for SC / ST / Women / Ex-servicemen / PwD / candidates belonging to Minority.
✔️ The fee in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of "The Assistant Personnel Officer/ Railway Recruitment Cell, Chennai" payable Chennai.
