Tickets for the India-Pakistan T20 World Cup match were sold out within hours

Tickets for Pakistan's highly awaited T20 World Cup match versus India sold out within some hours of being made available for purchase over the break on Sunday.

Tickets for the Pak-India match were on sale officially just seconds after the ICC announced that they would be available for purchase through the online ticketing service Platinumlist.

The general admission, general east, premium, pavilion east, and platinum seating enclosures have all been reported to be sold out according to the latest information. Thousands of users were forced to wait in long lines, with some reports stating that the wait time was close to an hour.


Tickets for the Pak-New Zealand match have also been booked. After New Zealand canceled the Pakistan tour, the match is expected to be a thrilling match as well.

Early on Sunday night, premium and platinum tickets were being offered for prices ranging from 1,500 Dirhams to as much as 2,600 Dirhams, and all of the available seats were purchased by Monday.

During the ICC T20 World Cup, Pakistan and India will meet in their first encounter of the Super 12s. The match is set to take place on October 24 at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.

The Pakistan cricket team is determined to turn the tide after one of the other eight Twenty20 matches it has played against India, has ended in victory. Because of the International Cricket Council's announcement that all of the tournament's stadiums will run at 70 percent of their entire maximum seating during the tournament, cricket fans' excitement has only grown.
