History. Tamil Rockers was a bootleg recording network which was founded in 2011 and later became a public torrent website that links to pirated copies of Indian films in addition to Hollywood movies dubbed into regional languages along with the original English audio. 

Tamil Rockers owner Prabhu, DVD Rockers owner Johnson and their accomplices — Villupuram-native Karthi, Suresh and Maria John — have been arrested, reported Deccan Chronicle. The accused were produced in court, which sent them to judicial custody.
