28th November, 2019, Islamabad (NPK News) : Supreme Court of Pakistan has granted extension to Chief of Army Staff, COAS, General Qamar Javaid Bajwa for six months.
The case was taken by SC on Tuesday, 26th November
After three days hearings in the court, the Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan, CGP, Asif Saeed Khosa, Justice Mansoor Ali and Justice Mazhar Alam announced verdict.
The SC ordered the government to make legislation in the Army act in the next months. The government representative Attorney General assured the court that the legalisation would be made within next months.
