Faculty Development Program PhD Scholarships UET Peshawar Application Form Download 2016  .Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for the award of PhD scholarships in reputed foreign universities in the fields mentioned below. The selection of the candidates will be made purely on merit, considering their academic achievements and teaching aptitude. Scholarship awardees will be required to serve University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar (Jalozai Campus) as faculty member for a minimum period of (5) five years after completion of PhD study.The scholarship will cover tuition fee, monthly stipend, one-time return air fare, and bench fee/administrative fee of the university. However, in final selection of universities, preference will be given to those universities that offer concessional tuition and other fees.
About University
Eligibility Criteria	These scholarships are exclusively for Pakistani nationals domiciled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/FATA or PATA only. • The candidates must have minimum (18) eighteen years of education in the relevant field. • The candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or 4.0 out 5.0 in semester system, or 1st division in annual/term system of examination in all degrees and certificates. • Maximum age on closing date: • (a) 40 years for full time faculty members of public sector universities I colleges and employees of public sector R&D organizations. • (b) 35 years for all others. • The candidates must have acquired requisite qualification before the closing date of application. • The candidates who are already availing, or have availed any other scholarships for PhD from HEC, University/DAls, and other departments are not eligible to apply. However, those who are studying on self finance basis or availing private scholarship are also eligible, unless there is some encumbrances with previous scholarship. Those who are availing or have availed scholarship for MS only are also eligible. • Candidates are required to submit a valid GAT General score and TOEFL / IELTS scores alongwith their applications, having the following minimum criteria: • (a) GAT General Score – 50% • (b) TOEFL (I BT) or IELTS – 80 out of 120 or 6.5 band out of 9.0 band.

Apply Procedure	The candidates are required to submit application on the prescribed form available at University website or from the office of the Project Director, Jalozai Campus of UET Peshawar. The following documents are required to be submitted along with the application form: 1. Attested copy of all educational testimonials. 2. Attested copy of domicile. 3. Attested copy of CNIC. 4. Two pages CV/resume. 5. Two recent photographs. 6. Attested copy of valid GAT General: and TOEFL or IELTS result cards. 7. Application form is available on UET Peshawar website (www.uetpeshawar.edu.pk). Candidates are required to submit the application form complete in all respects along with Rs. 500/- bank draft or University deposit receipt with Cashier, UET Peshawar (non-refundable) in favour of Treasurer, UET Peshawar as processing fee. 8. Candidates who are already serving in Government / Semi Government/Autonomous organizations should apply through proper channel accompanied by NOC from employer, till completion of their studies, plus (5) five years service to UET Peshawar on completion of studies.
