Job Description
Assists managers and supervisors by performing administrative activities and functions associated with scheduling, payroll, accounts payable, report preparation and wellness administration associated with office and personnel functions in a Station Operations office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Assists in the development and maintenance of advance work schedules for station operation functions utilizing computer generated volume data and staffing guidelines
Develops and maintains statistical data and prepares information and reports pertaining to budgets, office forecasts, operations and performance
Makes local purchases within authorized limits, maintains office supplies and processes local statements for payment
Performs personnel-related duties including filing, process payroll in accordance with provisions of union agreements and company policy
Provide support for management by coordination and preparation of reports associated with personnel functions
Job Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or education equivalent
Experience using Microsoft Office products and applications
Experience in a clerical role
Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
Ability to maintain composure in high volume/high pressure situations
Perform office related functions such as mail sorting and distribution of shipments weighing up to 50lbs
Able to stand and bend to perform filing or other office related functions, up to 2 hours daily
Must be flexible and willing to work rotating shifts in a 24 hour/7 day a week operation including weekends, nights, and holidays
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
