Ghana midfielder Christopher Antwi-Adjei out of Bochum’s clash with Freiburg. Ghanaian midfielder Christopher Antwi-Adjei will not play for VfL Bochum against Freiburg for VfL Bochum this weekend.
Due to a muscle issue, Antwi-Adjei hasn't trained this week and won't play in the match on Friday.
Antwi-Adjei will miss his fourth straight game this season due to the injury problem.
"He dropped out due to a muscular problem. I can't yet say how long he will be absent," said coach Thomas Reis after the first game against Mainz.
He joined Bochum on a free transfer in July 2021 and contributed a goal and four assists in 28 appearances last season.
His contract runs until June 2024.
