Updated News for illegal Residents - Leave UAE without Fines


Good News for illegal Expats, The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) has announced the last date of the grace period granted to visit and residency violators which will end on December 31.


No Fines for Violators:
Visit and Residency violators with expired visas before March 1, will not have to pay fines, this is announced on Thursday by ICA UAE. Checkout full details in below post.

Grace Period Details:
The presidential order includes full waiver of fines for people with expired entry or residency permits willing to leave the country. This grace period will last end of .


The overstay violators will also be exempted from all fines provided they leave the country.

People who Exit can return again:
In an earlier tweet by Major Al Rashidi said that the decision will not prevent the beneficiary from returning to the UAE. 


The initiative covers all violators of the entry and residency law and affirmed that the violators will not be banned from entering the UAE provided they leave the country.



How to Exit UAE legally:
He emphasized that visa holders wishing to leave the UAE from Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah airports must arrive 6 hours before the flight. Meanwhile, those wishing to leave the country through Dubai Airport must visit the deportation center 4 hours before the flight. 

People leaving through Dubai Al Maktoum International airport must arrive 48 hours before the flight.

Warning: No Job on Visit Visa

3 Steps Process:
The Director General revealed that the authority has taken many exceptional measures to streamline the process of leaving the country. The violator will have to complete his/her procedures in only 3 steps, including obtaining the passport, buying the ticket, and arriving well before the date of the trip.
