Guide Share Your Screen On Facebook Live on Messenger app

The article is about a new feature of Facebook which is How to Share Your Screen on Facebook Live?

 

Facebook screen sharing is a new function for Facebook users, Now you can share your screen with friends and family up to eight people in a group video call which is limited for now. Before this feature we use Facebook's Screen Sharing Chrome extensions or Promethean screen share extension.

This New Facebook screen sharing option will be so helpful for us. There will be no need for us to use any third-party software or extension for Facebook screen sharing.

@MattNavarra Said on 17 Oct 2017 that Facebook screen sharing option on FB live is available for desktop/laptop but now it's available for Messenger app too.

 You can access the screen sharing feature during an ongoing video call and only up to eight people can share their screens during a group video call.

Requirement:

1. The latest version of Messenger App
2. Functioning internet connection
3. Facebook login

Guide to share screen using Facebook Messenger app

1. Open the Facebook Messenger app on your Smartphone.

   
2. If not, log in using Facebook login credentials
3. Now, make a video call or group video call with less than eight people
4. After calling all, swipe up the bottom panel where you see all the controls for video call

   
5. You’ll see a new ‘Share Your Screen’ option, click on it

   
6. It will then prompt a popup saying ‘Exposing sensitive info during casting/recording, accept the prompt by tapping on Start now button

   

Your screen is now shared with other 8 people
