Dubai to start new service for illegal residents residing in UAE named “Boarding ticket for illegal residents”. Yes it is true; Dubai intends to launch what will be as the world’s first service of its kind involving easing procedures for illegal residents to leave UAE to their home countries.
The service, dubbed “boarding ticket for illegal residents” will be launched in 2020 and is intended to expedite the departure (exit) of all illegal expatriates said the Directorate’s Director General, Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al-Marri.
Who are Including in Illegal Expats?
1. All those whose visas have expired
2. Those who overstay
3. Those who reside illegally (without visa) in the UAE
Service by GDRFA:
The service will be launched by the General Directorate for Residence and Foreigners’ Affairs in coordination of DUBZ Company, an affiliate of DNATA (Dubai National Aviation and Transport Authority).

This service is meant to complete procedures for the travel (exit) of all illegal residents in a speedy, modern and intelligent manner.
“This service is generally found in other countries but it is the first time that involves illegal residents, that is what distinguishes this service in Dubai from other countries, it will also help us set up a comprehensive database for all illegal residents residing inside UAE, “ said Al Marri.
Al Marri more added that this new service would allow all illegal residents in UAE to board the plane without any obstacles, so “no one will miss the flight.”
