If we talk about amnesty in Dubai, the viral news and rumours can be true because Dubai was going to start new service for illegal residents in year 2021 which is delayed a bit, this amnesty is also similar to amnesty program named “Boarding ticket for illegal residents”.
Yes it’s true; Dubai intends to launch world’s first service of its kind by GDRFA in coordination with DUBZ Company, an affiliate of DNATA involving easing procedures for illegal residents to leave UAE to their home countries.
As per the Directorate’s Director General, Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al-Marri the service “boarding ticket for illegal residents” will be launched in early 2021 (delayed) and is intended to expedite the departure (exit) of all illegal expatriates.
Maj Gen Al Marri more added that this new service would allow illegal residents to board the plane without any obstacles, so “no one will miss the flight”.

Immigration staff will review the application, will check applicant status either he/she is clear from court and criminal cases or not, if immigration accepted the request, an applicant need to pay the application fees around 200 AED and will require to buy air ticket to exit the country within 14 days once the exit pass issued.
