Duties and Responsibilities


Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:





  • Subject Matter Expert on all components of background and acts as support for HR Administration team


  • Acts as supervisor for HR Administration in the absence of Manager


  • Assist in the day-to-day operation of the background clearance process for new hire and return to work employees


  • Ensure all candidates meet the requirements to hold the position into which they’re moving/being hired. Criteria includes company policy, CFR 1544.2299, security directives and division specific work rules


  • Responsible for timely communication of results with managers, staffing representatives and business partners


  • Assist business partners with collection of on-boarding documents (including close partnership with Recruiting)


  • Issue clearances and verbally communicate denials with managers, staffing representatives, business partners in a timely manner


  • Maintain accurate data and document notes consistently


  • Cross check employee information in TALEO/PeopleSoft


  • Meet all deadlines and communicate anomalies immediately


  • Coordinate with team to ensure coverage at all times


  • Advise leadership of areas of concern


  • Manages the day-to-day operation of the background clearance process for new hire and return to work employees


  • Ensure all candidates meet the requirements to hold the position into which they’re moving/being hired


  • Partner with third-party pre-employment screening company to collectively manage workload, ensure expectations are met, handle escalations


  • Responsible for timely communication of results with managers, staffing representatives and business partners









Job Requirements




  • Bachelor of Science in business management or equivalent work experience


  • Minimum of 2 years in analytical role, compliance audit type role with increasingly responsibility demonstrating strong leadership skills, making decisions and attaining results


  • Relevant experience that demonstrates comprehensive knowledge and understanding of planning project management


  • Must be able to work in an environment under constant demand, while handling multiple; shifting priorities and large volume of problem resolution


  • Well-rounded knowledge of regulations and standardized auditing principles


  • Recent 2 years in strong communication, problem solving, interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills


  • Excellent oral and written skills


  • Demonstrated strong internal/external written and verbal communications


  • Able to develop business relationships at all levels


  • Must be able to work in an environment under constant demand, while handling multiple projects, shifting priorities and a large volume of problem resolution


  • Must work well with peers and senior leadership in a team oriented, and establish new cooperative working relationships


  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others, but ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential


  • Develop good graphs and presentations that tell a story


  • Must be analytical, detail oriented and have a strong business sense


  • Ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions


  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship


  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification


  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

  • Experience with conducting background checks
