Job Description
The Check Flight Attendant is responsible for ensuring Flight Attendant competency and standardization through the performance of Flight Attendant Initial Operating Experience (IOE) and Line Proficiency Checks. This position carries out a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to, evaluating and coaching Flight Attendant trainees to ensure performance standards are met and mentor new hire and line Flight Attendants.

Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
Promote standardization, compliance, safe practices and quality customer service in accordance with company policies and procedures, FA, TSR and DOT regulations.
Coordinate with other crewmembers to ensure a safe and reliable airline operation.
Promote flight attendant standardization, compliance, safety and quality customer service in accordance with company policies and procedures, FAR, TSR and DOT regulations.
Adherence to and education of uniform guidelines, possessing and maintaining a professional appearance and conduct and be in complete uniform compliance at all times while in uniform.
Evaluate and coach Flight Attendant trainees to ensure performance standards are met.
Provide on-the-job instruction and evaluation during Initial Operating Experience (IOE) on all aircraft types.
Observe and evaluate flight attendant performance, appearance and conduce during Line Checks (annual, mentoring and sporadic) and provide coaching/mentoring as needed.
Monitor and assist with training and administrative programs (when necessary), which may include presenting classroom materials for initial new hire, recurrent, re-qualification, and/or any other training as assigned by Inflight Standards and Inflight Training.
Support the Inflight Department in achievement of Department and Corporate goals.
Act as liaison for Flight Attendants, Inflight Management and other Departments.
Be able to maintain and display a working knowledge of FAA requirements as well as Company and departmental standards, policies and procedures.
Responsible for the Company’s Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
Attend training events (Check Flight Attendant Recurrent Training, Recurrent Flight Attendant Training, other training required by management)
Job Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of Six (6) months Flight Attendant experience and certification
• Must have successfully completed all required training events. (Recurrent Training, Line Checks, other training required by management)
• Must successfully complete CFA Ground School Training and CFA Standardization and Certification Line Check
• Must be in good standing with the company
• Must be in possession of a valid US or Foreign Passport with applicable VISAs
• Must be able to demonstrate authorization to work in the US
• Must be able to speak, read and write English
• If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US.
