Job Description
Supply exposure to and gain experience in airline operations at Frontier Airlines by working with one or more Inflight Experience operations departments for a specific period of time. Closely work with departmental employees in assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Assist Inflight Experience/Inflight Operations Department with various projects and functions as assigned including
Update company manuals, resource guides and department publications (coordinating with Technical Publications and Corporate Communications)
Assist Director, Inflight Operations with Association grievance tracking and filing
Perform a variety of administrative functions including filing, answering phones, reviewing and distributing communications, responding to crewmember e-mail inquiries
Act as a backup to post memos on Inflight Services Intranet site and Document Content Manager (DCM)
Perform intermediate level administrative duties for the Sr. Director, Inflight Experience and Director, Inflight Operations to include drafting correspondence, developing and maintaining various spreadsheets, and creating proposals and presentations
Help track and investigate “controllable” crew delays in both focus cities/crew bases and out stations
Support FlyTab program through inventory and replacement of technology/hardware devices, reconciliation of crewmember tips (research and publication of spreadsheet to payroll) and troubleshooting/resolving technical issues
Serve as project manager for departmental initiatives/implementation timelines
Support Inflight Operations by assisting Inflight Supervisors with Gate Checks and Head Start delay visibility efforts
Prepare weekly updates and project reporting
Other Functions Become knowledgeable of all Frontier policies and departmental procedures and policies where intern performs work
Job Requirements
Current college student
Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for escorted assess privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.
Possess excellent office and communication skills
Working knowledge of PC, MS Office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook preferred
