Job Description


​​This job is a member of the Mid-Market Sales Team within the Sales and Distribution Strategy Division.
​Responsible for managing business relationships with small to medium corporate accounts.

Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:





Duties and Responsibilities





  • ​Sells primarily from headquarters (via phone or web) with occasional face-to-face interactions


  • Effectively executes value-based selling, account strategy and the AA sales process


  • Utilizes email and marketing tools for broader campaigns and communication


  • Works with Agency counterparts and other partners to achieve combined results


  • Promotes and sells a broad range of programs to corporate accounts, including a mix of current customers and important prospects across the United States


  • High Volume territory


  • Analyzes customer needs through telephone sales calls, and meets those needs with either an existing or customer specific program


  • Coordinates and implements programs with appropriate staff departments


  • Prepares correspondence, proposals, and presentations to support sales activity









Job Requirements




  • ​​Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience/training


  • Understanding and execution of value-based selling


  • Strong account strategy development and execution skills


  • Ability to prepare and execute high quality sales calls


  • Ability to accurately diagnose known and unknown account business needs and translate needs into opportunities and appropriate offerings


  • Ability to organize and prioritize a large territory


  • Above average analytical skills


  • Ability to communicate to high level executives


  • Strong value based selling skills founded on business acumen and the ability to translate benefits into the customer’s business language to prove value


  • Strong negotiation skills that lead to mutually beneficial dealstrong negotiation skills that lead to mutually beneficial deals


  • Effective leveraging of value delivered to increase mutual value and account penetration


  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)



  • Preferred Qualifications


  • ​Prior Business to Business sales experience


  • Airline sales experience a plus
