Job Description
In this role, the cargo agent will report directly to the Cargo Manager and be in charge of attending the Customers at the front counter, ensuring compliance with Air Canada services, both for inbound and outbound. The cargo agent will also handle the operations and the bookings in accordance with the company’s service standards and procedures and with safety and security regulations.
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
Bookings and sales support
Oversee the flight operations.
Check the airside pallets control.
WebLynx process, inbound, outbound, Air Waybill input, delivery, uncleared report (after training).
Coordinate the cargo build up team.
Front Counter attendance (Customer Service and document delivery)
Answer phone calls; provide feedback on shipments and general information to customers.
Handle emails from both Internal and External Customers.
Daily office administrative duties (Files, Scanning, photocopying).
Deal with Local Customs Authorities.
Support other stations in the region (LATAM).

High School Diploma
Background in the Cargo Airline Industry in a similar position (1-3 years of previous experience)
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Internet
Knowledge on Brazilian Customs System Operation (SISCOMEX/MANTRA).
Must possess all required training for restricted areas and ramp access
Driving License Cat. C is an asset
Wearing of the AC Uniform according to the company grooming standard and PPE as required
Availability to work on shifts, weekends and flexible hours
Ability to travel abroad for training or meetings, if required
Right to work in Brazil
