Review of the upcoming REC 2 Movie

The upcoming action-thriller REC 2 has all the ingredients of a good movie. The cast is talented and the director has an evocative vision of what the film can become. The plot is straightforward, but the action is thrilling, as there are countless bloody scenes. The climax of the movie is a huge explosion that takes place in the middle of a town, and the film is packed with a number of memorable moments.

The supernatural element in the movie is well-done, but the film's focus soon changes to three annoying teens in the background. The horror of the 'Exorcist'-style event is expanded in this sequel. The 'Exorcist'-style setting is a perfect backdrop for the film's creepy climax, which is a welcome change. Despite the tense climax, the movie's mid-section deflates the tension.
