Nepali internet service providers (ISP) are required to have a Mandatory toll-free number

Nepali Internet service providers (ISP) are now required to have a toll-free number for instant customer support. However, there are only 4 Internet service providers that have kept Mandatory toll-free numbers so far.

According to the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) Nepal Telecom Company Limited (NTC), World-Link Communications, Subisu Cablenet Pvt. Ltd and Broadband Nepal Pvt have kept toll free numbers till now.

The Nepal Telecommunications Authority had instructed the internet service providers to keep the toll-free number mandatory for customer complaints, help, and support in July 2020.

Nepal Telecom has provided 1498 and 198 toll-free numbers. World-Link Communications has 166001-55050, Subisu Cable Net Pvt. Ltd. 166001-59999, and Broadband Nepal has provided toll-free number 166071-52004.

NTA is preparing to take legal action against the internet service provider which does not have toll-free numbers.
