Introduction to SEO
What is SEO and why is it important?
Simply put, Search engine optimization or SEO is some of the rules of the search engine, which if followed or implemented, makes the search engine consider and rank the desired website as important to the search engine. In the current competitive world without SEO, it is almost impossible to get visitors or traffic from search engines. Without SEO, a website does not rank in search engines.
- The complete form of SEO is search engine optimization, which is some of the rules and procedures of search engine control. By applying the rules properly, you will be able to display your desired website on the first page of the search engine results page. The main purpose of SEO is to show your website first in SERPs.
- The search engine is created primarily to give users accurate search information and SEO makes that information useful to search engine. With SEO we understand what information users are looking for in search engines, what kind of problem they are looking for, what kind of words or keywords they are using and what content they want. With SEO, we can easily solve these problems for users.
History of SEO:
Today's SEO is the result of many changes that we see primarily through Google. On August 6, 1991, the first webpage was published by Tim Barnes Lee. Years later, the first official SEO journey began in 1997, but since 2001 the importance of SEO has continued to grow.
Jerry Young and David Philo founded Yahoo Search Engine in January 1994. Along with that, they created the Yahoo Directory.
Google was founded on September 4, 1998, by the hands of Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Currently, Google is one of the main search engines. Google has more than 90% of total search customers on the internet, and in addition, they have many popular products and services.
In 1998 (Goto.com) launched sponsored links and paid search. Where on organic results, it would have to be paid to stay first. Goto originally worked with Yahoo search engine support.
Since then, search engines have come to this place today with various algorithmic updates. Competitively, Google is now the best and best search engine of all.
Search engine basics
The search engine is basically a responsive website. They refine/insert millions of content from the Internet and through it again thousands of factors are evaluated and then presented to the user by finding out what information is right according to the user's search.
And search engine does the work by crawling and indexing as much information available on the internet (web pages, images, videos, PDFs, etc.). Ranking the information that is most useful to the user.
