National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases (NITRD) New Delhi invites applications from Indian Nationals for recruitment of Specialist Grade II (TB&CD) and Health Education Officer on Regular Basis. The closing date for receipt of applications is 30th January 2018.

Essential Qualification and Experience:
Specialist Grade-II (TB & Chest Diseases) ->
(1) A recognized medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. (Persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section of section 13 of the Act). A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D. in TB and Respiratory Diseases from an Indian University or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR Diploma in TB and Chest Diseases.
(2) 03 years experience in TB and Chest Diseases in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD (TB and Respiratory Diseases). 5 years experience in TB and Chest Diseases in a recognized Institution after obtaining the Diploma.
Health Education Officer ->
(1) Master Degree in Anthropology/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Social work from a recognized University or equivalent; and
(2) Diploma in Health Education or M.P.H. (majoring in Health Education) or equivalent - qualification from a recognized Institution.
(3) 3 years research/training experience in Community Health work/social education field.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview.

Educational Qualifications:

Health Education Officer -> (i) Master Degree in Anthropology/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Social work from a recognized University or equivalent; and (ii) Diploma in Health Education or M.P.H. (majoring in Health Education) or equivalent - qualification from a recognized Institution. (iii) 3 years research/training experience in Community Health work/social education field.
Laboratory Assistant -> (a) 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board or Institution/University. (b) 2 years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology with one year experience.
Assistant Engineer (Civil) -> Degree in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Govt. or equivalent qualification. Experience - 03 years after obtaining the minimum qualification required for the post.
Staff Nurse -> 3 years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or equivalent. Registered as Nurse; and Registered as Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Council.
