Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun (Uttarakhand State) is looking for Technician Apprentices (Diploma Holders) (Engineering disciplines, Commercial Practice, MOM and Library Sciences) to be engaged under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amended Act of 1973, for the training year 2017-18 in the various designated disciplines as notified by Board of Apprentice and Training (BOAT), Northern Region, Kanpur. The IIRS Apprentices Recruitment 2018 Online registration close on 29th December 2017.

Stipend: The duration of training will be 01 year from the date of joining and stipend is ₹ 3542/- per month.
Educational Qualification:
(1) 03 Years Diploma passed from State Technical Board / University.
(2) Candidates who have passed Diploma in / after April 2015 are only eligible to apply. Those who have passed degree in 2015 will be eligible for apprenticeship till July 2018 as per the provisions of Apprentices Act and they will not be offered the training position after July 2018, even if they are empaneled / waitlisted.

Pay and Allowances: The gross emoluments at the minimum of the Pay (7th CPC) for the post of Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ will be at present be ₹ 67770/-
Educational Qualification:
(1) M. Tech. or equivalent degree should be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks of all Semesters or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent.
(2) M.Sc. or equivalent degree should be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks of all Semesters or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale.
(3) Ph.D in concerned discipline.
