KARACHI - SINDH Parliament had laid the foundation of University of Karachi as a federal university in 1951. The university spreads over 1200 acre of land. University of Karachi is one of the largest universities in the country. All colleges of Karachi are affiliated with eight faculties of this University. It offers programs such as M.S, B.S, PhD and M.phil under five faculties of Islamic Learning, Administrative Science and Management,  Pharmacy, Science and Arts. The classes of these courses are conducted in the campus and it examines the students who are going to take admission in its affiliated colleges under faculties of Law and Education and Medicine.

Programs and Courses The University of Karachi is offering many graduate, post graduate degrees, M.S and PhD programs, short courses and professional diplomas to the students all over the Pakistan. It offers programs such as BS, BA/BSc/B.Com/BBA/ BPA/B.E./B.L.I.S. (Honors), Pharm-D (Pharmacy), MS, M.A. M.Sc., M.L.I.S., MPA, M.Com. MBA, M.Pharm. Ph.D D.Sc. and D.Litt Certificates and professional Diplomas are also offered in different departments of the University. Admission Procedure 2015 - 2016 In order to get the admission in University of Karachi, applicants must meet the required qualifications according to merit under categories K, S and P. Some seats are reserved for Baluchistan, FATA, Interior Sindh, Northern Areas, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, disabled persons, Children of Karachi University Employees and Teachers.
